For today, give yourself permission to release any expectation or attachment to a “diet” or “eating healthy” and instead treat yourself to one of the many goodies that are so prevalent and special this time of year (without any concern for how many calories it might have!). Express sincere gratitude for the abundance of food and love expressed in these treats that surround you.

TODAY'S REFLECTION QUESTION
Think of a recurring thought you have about yourself and how it can impact your actions or behavior (e.g. I’m always on time; I always run late; I never get upset; I’m a happy-go-lucky person; etc.). Now, reflect on a particular moment when your actions or behavior were impacted by this thought (e.g. becoming frantic in order to get somewhere on time) and ask yourself, “How would I have behaved or felt without that thought?” (e.g. I would have slowed down and felt much calmer)
